THE END --- Chile

On April 5th, 2013 we were free. Free from the entrapment of the Nathaniel B Palmer. Don't get me wrong, the last 53 days on a ship floating around Antarctica were unbelievable!We were all a little scared to enter back in to the real world.

After our 2 days of goodbye's to our friends we had just spent the last 2 months with, 5 of us ventured out on a backpacking trip of Torres del Paine.
We continued the drinking and feasting and absorbed the Chilean experience.

Calafate Sour, Pisco Sour, Beer, Beer and more beer.

 

 

 We slept 2 nights in Punta Arenas eating and drinking until all hours. We then took a bus to Puerto Natales and bought groceries to organize ourselves for our camping trip in Torres del Paine.
